Parzor director Dr Shernaz Cama was awarded the Dr Sarojini Naidu Award for her contribution to higher education for women in 2023, the seventh year of the Award, by Sandeep Marwah, founder of the NOIDA Film City and chancellor of its University on October 26, 2023 at the NOIDA Film City Auditorium. The awardees had been nominated from different corners of India while the High Commissioner of the Seychelles and deputy minister of Gambia, both working women and educationists were the chief guest and guest of honor respectively, Cama told us later. The awardeee teaches English and the classics at Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College For Women.

The Award, established by the Asian Academy of Arts and Marwah Studios "celebrates the remarkable achievements and exceptional contributions of women professionals from across the globe,” stated their profile on Linkedin. The Award pays tribute to the legacy of freedom fighter, poet and the country’s second woman president of the Indian National Congress.
