Thanks to the efforts of Beauty Without Cruelty (BWC) headed by Poona based Diana Ratnagar, trains speeding through forests areas in Gujarat’s Amreli district will have to reduce their speed to 40 km per hour at night to avoid collision with lions and other wildlife, notes the organization’s Winter 2024 issue of Compassionate Friend.
