When Pervez Mehernosh Asli proceeded to London’s Ashbourne College to do his A Levels in maths, physics, chemistry and information technology after completing his ICSE from Bombay’s Cathedral and John Connon School, he seemed to have his career well in focus. For a brief write-up from WZCC director Zarin Commissariat notes that on completion of this course he joined Rolls Royce, UK for a two year stint for practical training before enrolling for the master’s degree in aeronautical engineering at London’s Imperial College.

At the age of 22, having submitted a dissertation on "The finite element analyses of residual stress in aircraft panels,” and earned a first class master’s degree, he has proceeded to Brussels to work with Toyota Motors.
