Milestones

The age of Zoroastrian brides as listed in this issue) ranged between 21 and 37 years, the arithmetic mean (the total number of individual ages divided by the total number of brides) being    26 years. The corresponding figures for the grooms were 23 and 44 years, averaging at 29 years.  The first month of the new year saw the birth of 16 new lives and the end of 62. Twenty-two of those succumbed to diseas­es of the heart, 13 being 80 years and above. Old age/general debility claimed six lives whereas lung related diseases felled five Zoroastrians.
