Ahmedabad based "Aava” has been working during the lockdown to supply their mineral water to Covid-19 patients at hospitals, quarantine centers and migrant camps along with hydrating frontline warriors — the police and healthcare professionals. To do the same efficiently, Aava has even subsidized its offerings significantly over and above the free relief water supplies, notes a press release from the company.
Since the past year Aava has successfully created an e-commerce business and now directly delivers the water to the doorsteps of thousands of clients. Their supply network covers 32 cities in India. Last year Aava embarked on a journey to become a carbon neutral company and as at March end this year has achieved an incredible recycling rate which is unprecedented in the industry, states a write-up on the company.
