year, we present memories of navjotes and
weddings celebrated 60 years ago

Our search for anecdotal gems started nearly two months ago. With Parsiana entering its 60th year beginning this November, for our annual celebrations-calendar issue we felt it would be befitting to identify individuals who had celebrated either their navjotes or weddings 60 years prior, in 1963-64, and would mark their diamond jubilee alongside ours.
With persistent effort we were able to get information on three couples who had tied the knot and 13 initiates who had first tied their kusti during this significant year. There were a few others too who were identified but they were either reluctant to share their......
