Many vehicles belonging to Zarathushtis have an Asho Farohar sticker prominently displayed on the windshield, as a symbol of "protection.”
Farohar stickers on vehicles in Thailand
As I was walking on the streets of the small port town of Phuket in Thailand, I chanced upon a most unusual sight — a four-wheeler and a two-wheeler displaying similar stickers. These, however, had the letter "T” along with a sign embossed on it. I could not locate the owners of the vehicles but was informed by the locals that many people in Thailand believe that the Farohar provides them with protection.
It would be interesting to know when, how and why our revered Asho Farohar reached Thailand.

The Farohar symbol probably originated in Egypt and Mesopotamia and spread from there to Iran and other places. The Zoroastrians have adopted the symbol but it is universal.
