Dave Master’s monster kebab was the result of chef Cyrus Toddywala’s culinary engineering. He "served up the jumbo dish for us at his east London Cafe Spice restaurant to mark National Curry Week, which helps to raise funds for Oxfam’s work in South Asia. His team of experts used blow torches to cook the meat, which was wrapped around a huge piece of copper piping,” writes Master in the Sun Online.
Toddywala is quoted as saying: "I’ve never done anything like this — it was a huge challenge but I’m so pleased we managed it!” The Sun Online’s challenger added: "This was one of my hardest tasks yet.”...
