The Parsi Ambulance Division (PAD) has been gifted a new air conditioned Tata Winger by Nergish Vesavevala in memory of her husband Darius and his parents Naju and Dhunjishaw Vesavevala, states a write-up by Aspi Sarkari, trustee of the Division. The donation of the ambulance was through the good offices of PAD commander Khushrow Masani.      From l: Rekha Damani, Mehernavaz and Nergish Vesavevala and    Rajen Damani at ambulance inauguration  The inauguration ceremony took place on November 18, 2024 in the presence of Nergish, her niece Mehernavaz Vesavevala and close friends Rajen and Rekha Damani. Nergish commended the PAD for its service to the public in providing free ambulance services for over 120 years. The ambulance will be available in Bombay for free use by members of any community within the city’s limits (tel: 8591615177). It can also be used to ferry patients who need regular dialysis or other therapies. In addition to patient transportation, PAD also offers surgical beds, wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, etc on a deposit basis, without any rental charges. The Division’s services are sustained by voluntary donations. Established in 1904, PAD is located opposite the Metro Inox Cinema at Dhobi Talao. ...
