IZA elects five

A total of 126 voters of the Iranian Zoroastrian Anjuman (IZA) turned up at the Sir J. J. School on D. N. Road on September 29, 2024 to vote for five of the six candidates for the Bombay constituency of the IZA, informs an Anjuman spokesman. Of the six candidates: Khodadad Irani (91 votes), Vafadar Irani (91), Gaiv Irani (87), Sarosh Irani (86) and Hemavandh Namdarian (82) were declared winners while Roozbeh Hormuzdiyar (47) lost. The general committee of the IZA comprises five from Bombay, 23 from villages/towns in Iran whose descendants have settled in India plus the trustees, patrons and patron nominees totalling around 43.     Elected candidates from l: Sarosh Irani, Hemavandh Namdarian,     Vafadar Irani, Khodadad Irani and Gaiv Irani  ...
