Twenty-seven years after having hosted the 2nd World Zoroastrian Youth Congress in 1997, London once again played host, this time to the 8th World Zoroastrian Youth Congress (8WZYC) which was organized by Young Zoroastrians — a youth platform of Zoroastrians in the United Kingdom — under the auspices of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe (ZTFE). The Congress was organized with a vision of "Reigniting Connections” and under the mission statement "To coexist harmoniously despite our differences.”
