His pristine message:/ Equality, universality, tolerance/ Freedom. Treating people with respect, understanding/ As well dignity, humility/ No matter their color, caste or creed/ No matter what strata of society/ One came from/ Rich, poor, beggar or thief/ Justice will be universal/ For all./ No human race is superior/ No religious faith is inferior/ All collective arguments are wrong/ Only racists make them (Elie Weisel).
When life on earth is done/ According to common sense/ The soul is stripped of/ Titles, accolades, awards/ Including color, caste/ Religion or creed/ But it’s only judged/ According to the/ Good thoughts, good words/ Good deeds.
So why the hoopla?’/ Cause nobody is pure/ Or impure, perfect or imperfect/ Neither superior or inferior/ As we are on the same playing field/ As humans/ Nobody has monopoly/ Over wisdom./ No caste, no religion, no race./ Pray for humanity./ Stand for peace (Deeper within)
Let me end with the words/ Etched on the tiny cylinder:/ "How one should treat and/ Be treated not like a slave/ Who is being humiliated/ Poked prodded waiting to be bought/ Humans don’t need to be discriminate/ Because of their color, caste or creed/ But treated with respect, tolerance/ Equality as well/ As dignity.” FARIDA BAMJI
