Seven-year-old Nekzaad Olpadwala has won a bronze for the under 20 kg category at the district level for the International Press Community Taekwondo Championship 2016 held on January 17 in Bombay. Nekzaad and his five-year-old sibling Shazaad have "made us proud,” writes father Aspi in an email to Parsiana.

Earlier, Nekzaad won a gold medal in the World Taekwondo competition in the under 18 kg category while Shazaad won a silver medal at the national level in the same weight category. The older sibling had also won a bronze for a competition at the state level in October 2015, at the same event where Shazaad made his debut.
Aspi states that the lads’ coach Kiran Gawande enjoys coaching Parsi kids "as they are willing to learn and give results.”
