There was a good selection of articles in the Jamshedi Navroz issue of Parsiana (March 7-20, 2022). On reading "We were content,” about Jer Sarkari’s association with the Bai B. S. Bengalee Girls’ High School, I recalled that after I finished my schooling, I had a brief connection with the School, though not directly.
I was keen on joining a cooking class. Someone recommended the cooking class conducted by Ms Polson at the Bengalee School. It was a well-run class with a few participants. The fees were most reasonable, even in those days: Rs 11, which included notes, demonstrations, ingredients and hands-on training plus a portion of the food to take away! FEROZA CHINOY
