Due to the steep increase in the price of kathi, agiaries and atash behrams are finding it difficult to cope with the monthly bills.
Funding for such an essential community service can thrive only on the munificence of contributions made. The Funds and Properties of the Parsi Punchayet Bombay (BPP) has created the Seth Kobad Rustomji Noble Kathi Fund with an initial donation of five lakh rupees which will form the corpus.
The BPP has opened a separate bank account for this specific purpose and will publish a detailed quarterly statement of donations received and disbursements made from it. We request community members to donate towards this deserving cause to help keep our holy fires burning and seek blessings of the divine atash padshah. SHEHNAAZ KHAMBATTA
