Farrokh Suntook’s tribute to Zareer Masani (pictured), "Emotional honesty” (Parsiana, September 21-October 6, 2024) is an extraordinarily vivid sketch of a life filled with contradictions and conflicts, told with utmost clarity and love.
It also touches upon the subject of assisted death with a rare sensitivity by acknowledging that the decision is never going to be an easy one, yet one that an individual should be allowed to make.
In his manner of passing, as in his life, Zareer left a trail of questions.
