The WZO Trust Funds thanks donors, friends and well-wishers who extended financial support towards the medical treatment of Havovi Bharucha, resident of Dadar, Bombay (see "Appeal for medical aid,” Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, April 6-20, 2023). Unfortunately, the patient passed away on March 22, 2023 during the course of her treatment.
We had commitments from foreign donors (to be received): Rs 15,04,172 and receipts from individual donors: Rs 7,34,122, totaling Rs 22,38,294. The expenditure on treatment was Rs 19,00,000. The balance funds available, Rs 3,38,294, will be utilized for the medical treatment of other deserving members of the community.
