Oorvazi Irani has been invited by the Federation of Film Societies of India (FFSI), Calcutta, to show her film The Path of Zarathustra at its first national film festival to be inaugurated from March 25 to 29, 2016 at Nandan-II, a government sponsored film and cultural center in that city. Subsequently the film will travel to other cities. As part of the festival, FFSI plans to show over 15 feature films and a similar number of films in different Indian languages in over 15 cities in India, mentions an email received from the filmmaker. The programs will be on a non-commercial basis targeted mainly at film society activists, students of film schools and film studies, the Press and media, according to FFSI.
Irani mentions that the DVD of The Path of Zarathustra (see "A game of Chinese whispers,” Parsiana, August 21, 2015) released by Soni, is available online on Amazon and Flipkart, as well as in Landmark stores all over India (except Bombay) and the Parsiana Shop.The DVD is priced at Rs 299.
