After 60 years they resurfaced — memories of navjotes and weddings celebrated in 1963-64, the year Parsiana was conceived. With the magazine entering its 60th year this November, for our annual calendar-celebrations issue we identified individuals with recollections of milestone events celebrated six decades earlier. Acceding to our request they relived the highlights of the significant day and shared images, all captured in black and white (see "Sauth naa sagan,” pg 26).
The ladies, not surprisingly, had clear memories connected with their attire on the occasion, be it their navjote dress or the footwear. The men reminisced of their playful ways......
