Generous bequest

The late philanthropist Jal Hormasji Sethna was a regular donor to the welfare activities of The WZO (World Zoroastrian Organisation) Trust Funds during his lifetime. Upon his passing on September 23, 2021, his estate was distributed amongst many community institutions, including atash behrams, agiaries and centers for senior citizens.   Top, from l: Yazdi Kasad, Aspi Ambapardiwala,    Bachi and Dinshaw Tamboly,    Cyrus Vandriwala and Rohinton Contractor;    above: donor Jal Sethna (bottom l) and family To acknowledge his very generous bequest, the WZO Trust had a ceremony at its Senior Citizens’ Centre in Navsari on October 18, 2024 where the portraits of the donor, his late parents and sister were unveiled. We will always honor the memory of one who gave willingly and generously while alive and even after his demise. We also acknowledge with gratitude the services of the executors of Jalbhai’s will, Apurva Shah and Jimmy Kelawala, for expeditiously disbursing the largesse to many community institutions as per the donor’s wishes.         DINSHAW K.
