Zealous at ZWAS

Stitching of sudrehs for men and women, dance practice, trips to the Amroli Agiary and the Pariya Mai well, a crafts session, a visit to a plant nursery at Vesu, and the staging of a play were part of the activities of a three-day camp organized by the Zoroastrian Women’s Assembly of Surat (ZWAS) from May 10 to 12, 2024. As noted a report by ZWAS committee member Nilufer Bavaadam, the camp offered ZWAS members an opportunity to "relive their childhood.” ZWAS also organized a complimentary two-day tutorial on sudreh stitching under the guidance of Homai Dumasia and Binaz Coachman at the Nariman Parsi Girls’ Orphanage at Shahpore on May 18 and 19.
