Spirit of Zoroastrianism

When I visited the palatial house of a Parsi family in Delaware, USA I was amazed by their two children who do not look their age. One appeared to be around 17, while the other, aged 20, looked no more than 15! Intrigued, I probed a little deeper. There must have been some tangible reasons for them to look much younger than they were. I learnt that the son prays daily, works out, including walking and spot-running, avoids allergy causing foods, eats lots of fruits and consumes a good proportion of proteins. He has friends. To combat stress in the workplace he and his team enjoy music while they work. In short, he practices Zoroastrianism in spirit. The daughter also prays, works out for half to one hour daily, enjoys music while driving to college, reads to soothe her mind, walks for one to two hours daily, has friends and believes in harming no one. I was very impressed and thought of sharing their routine with your readers. BEHRAM T. DASTUR dasturbehram@gmail.com ...
