A glossary of words

Reading the advertisement "Looking for a life partner?” (Parsiana January 2005) I had no clue what "manglik/non-manglik” meant, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. So I thought, in the summer issues when Parsiana publishes what is more or less a "one-theme” issue, why not have A to Z of difficult, traditional, religious, etc words, with their meanings; words such as Shahenshahi, behdin, madavsaro — I can go on. Perhaps a few learned men and women could whet the contents to ensure that no word is overlooked. I suggest words used in prayers in publications and even conversation be included. Something to consider maybe? ADI PANDAY Surrey, UK  The Editors reply We’ll certainly consider the option....
