With regard to the item "Adieu, Nariman” (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, May 21-June 6, 2024), Dr Meher Master-Moos had sent a tribute which was read out at the memorial meet for Fali Nariman (pictured).
She cited an incident where she appealed to him to help a well-known school in Bombay that was being threatened with demolition by property developers. He not only took up the case and won, but fought it pro bono. He also made generous donations to Zoroastrian College (in Sanjan) without even an appeal being made by her. "Lending a helping hand and giving of his erudition and largesse to all in need was his credo,” she wrote.
