A khushali nu jashan on October 6, 2024 by 16 priests marked the taking over of the panthakyship of Poona’s Sir J. J. Agiary by Ervad Porus Sinor from the former incumbent Ervad Kaipashin Raimalwala who retired, notes an email sent to Parsiana by Mabrin Nanavatti.

Among the other participating priests were Ervads Hormuz Patel, Ardaviraf Sinor, Yazdi Karkaria, Nevile Karkaria, Kayomarz Adajania, Jamshed Karkaria, Adi Bhandari, Cyrus Bhadha, Farokh Karkaria, Noshirwan Dastoor, Faredoon Pundole and Eric Ankleshwaria. Chasni and malido were served at the conclusion of the jashan.
