Why do our children not take interest in Parsi activities? Why do they marry outside?
Our elders have been fighting so much amongst themselves that we have all stopped loving. Our dislikes and our ego problems have led us to stop loving our own family members. Such an atmosphere discourages youngsters and they tend to avoid most of our community activities. Quite a few of them have gone to the extent of calling Parsi bawajis fools who go to any extent to satisfy their egos.
The most important thing is to have love and respect for each other. Once we start practicing this within our own families and with community members, our children will learn to respect the community and our religion.
With greater love and respect within the community there will be more interaction between young girls and boys of our community and interfaith marriages will stop.
