Would Parsiana be able to enlighten readers about what condition the Parsis were in during the period from the ninth century to the 18th century regarding their culture, food, clothing, taxes to be paid first to the Hindu kings and then to the Muslim invaders? Did they live in ghettos, huddled in hiding, or did they enjoy free trade with their rulers? Psychologically were they strong (after all they must have been fair and tall) or did they keep to themselves? During the British era we have a better idea of the condition of the Parsis.
