Appeal from Ajmer

The Parsi Agiary at Ajmer (pictured) in central Rajasthan was built by the late Naoroji Rustomji Kalyaniwala in 1898 and handed over to the Shri Ajmer Parsi Jarthosti Anjuman for use by the community. In addition to the Agiary, the Anjuman’s properties include the dakhma (1888), panthaky’s residence (1898), Rustom Framna Block (1911), Sukhia Block (1964), Rati Bai Block (1975) and kathi store (1982). Over the years notable work has been undertaken to maintain these properties. The 125th anniversary of the Agiary falls on June 19, 2023.
