Dr Homi Doodhwala (pictured), president of the Surat Parsi Panchayat and trustee of 30 years’ standing was felicitated by the Surat Medical Consultants’ Association and the Surat chapter of the Indian Medical Association on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. A senior undergraduate and postgraduate teacher and examiner, Doodhwala served the municipal corporation’s Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research till 2016 and is now a professor of surgery at Kiran Medical College, Surat.
